My First Publishing Deal :)

Hi, everyone! I have some super-exciting news to share with you all: 

MY NEWEST YA TRILOGY JUST SOLD TO HARLEQUIN TEEN!!!!!!

My incredible agent, Molly Ker Hawn from The Bent Agency, told me about the offer a week ago and I’ve been bursting to tell you all since then. I’m so happy that I’m able to share this news with you today!

The trilogy is called The Secret Diamond Sisters, and it’s what I consider “fun contemporary YA.” It’s about three sisters who discover they are the secret heirs to a Las Vegas billionaire casino owner and are swept into the glamorous and potentially treacherous world of rich Vegas teens who attend an exclusive private high school. It was so much fun to write, and I am thrilled to have Harlequin Teen behind me with bringing the trilogy to publication.

The editor at Harlequin Teen who purchased it is Natashya Wilson, and I am SO EXCITED to have this incredible opportunity to work with her. She has worked with bestselling authors Julie Kagawa (Iron Fey, Immortal Rules), Gena Showalter (Alice in Zombieland, Intertwined), and Rachel Vincent (Soul Screamers), to name a few. I can’t believe I will have the same editor as those amazing authors! You can view the full list of Harlequin Teen titles here. I know there’s going to be a lot of work ahead, and I can’t wait to learn from Natashya, who will help me make the book the best it can be.

I have been dreaming of this moment since four years ago, when I was a junior in college and decided to write novels professionally. Now I can’t believe it’s really happening! It feels like I’m living in a parallel universe dream world, and I’m amazed that my dreams are becoming real. I am so grateful to everyone who has believed in me and helped me get Secret Diamond Sisters to this point: My parents, brother, grandparents, best friends (Kaitlin, Tiffany, and Alicia), all the fans who have supported the Transcend Time Saga, Brent Taylor, Molly Ker Hawn, and Natashya Wilson. THANK YOU for helping me turn my dreams into a reality.

  12. I am PROUD BEYOND MEASURE. It's so crazy to me to see how far you've come along since Oct. 2010 when I first came across your stories. SO excited to see where we'll be in another couple of years. 😉
