Waiting on Wednesday: Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer
“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
The book I can’t wait to read this week is Bloodrose by Andrea Cremer.
Release Date: January 3, 2012
Goodreads Summary: Calla has always welcomed war. But now that the final battle is upon her, there’s more at stake than fighting. There’s saving Ren, even if it incurs Shay’s wrath. There’s keeping Ansel safe, even if he’s been branded a traitor. There’s proving herself as the pack’s alpha, facing unnamable horrors, and ridding the world of the Keepers’ magic once and for all. And then there’s deciding what to do when the war ends. If Calla makes it out alive, that is.
In the final installment of the Nightshade trilogy, New York Times bestselling author Andrea Cremer creates a novel with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until its final pages. A dynamic end to this breathtaking trilogy.

I absolutely loved Nightshade — it was a fantastic start to this trilogy. I enjoyed Wolfsbane too, although not as much as Nightshade. I’m hoping the summary is right and that Bloodrose will be an awesome ending for the trilogy! I want Calla to end up with Ren. However, I have a feeling she’s going to pick Shay, so I’ll deal with it. She just has such great chemistry with Ren, and I think their personalities mesh well together. Ren keeps Calla on her toes. Shay …. while I don’t dislike him, I think he and Calla would be better as friends. I just don’t feel the sizzle in the Calla/Shay scenes that I get from the Calla/Ren scenes.
What team are you — Team Shay or Team Ren?
Awesome Pick, Michelle!! I really need to read Nightshade:P

Thanks for stopping by my blog! When an author comments on my blog I feel like I've had a celebrity encounter. =) I have to read Remembrance soon! It sounds so good.
Team REN! Can't wait to see how it ends!
TEAM REN!!!!!!!!!
Shay is just to…emotional? idunno i have this immage in my head ever sense book 1 that hes just some emo kid, for lack of better words. His chapters with Calla are not as hot as Rens. I LOVED Wolfsbane, personaly better then Nightshade. Read Nightshade in a week, Wolfsbane in a day. Could not put it down. PICK REN or die? LIKE i kinda want Calla to get killed saving someone? OR Ren saves her and dies! i think i would cry! yes, they should make the release date christmass january seems so far away now.
Omg. I love team REN!!!!! I cant see the ending with shay……
