What’s happened since I last blogged …
So, a lot has happened since the last time I blogged!
I signed with Christine Witthohn at Book Cents Literary Agency, and my completed novel is currently being looked at by publishing houses. They’ve had it for a while, so hopefully I’ll hear back soon!
In the meantime, I’ve been working on the first novel in a new series. I’m nearly done the first draft, which is exciting! I’ve noticed that the draft of this novel is coming out much cleaner than the draft of the first, so hopefully I won’t have to spend as much time editing. I tend to edit a bit as I go along, so that’s always helpful in that department. My goal is to finish the draft by the end of the month, but I’ve been busy with school since finals and final papers are coming up.
Speaking of finals, it’s sinking in that after this semester ends, I’ll no longer be a student anymore. (I’m graduating in May!) Scary, but also exciting. Hopefully I’ll have more time to work on my writing in “the real world,” but we’ll see! I just want to finish the novel I’m working on so my agent can get it out to publishing houses. I feel like it has a lot of potential, and am excited to hear people’s responses to it.
That’s about it going on for now. Back to writing!

MIchelle, I wish I had found my writing path when I was your age. I was still writing ad copy in my early 20's and it took a couple of decades to pursue my love of fiction. I wish you much success with your novels and congratulations on your upcoming graduation.
Looking forward to meeting you at BEA.
